Fastest: in FoundryMate, open Settings → Help & Feedback → Report a Bug. It sends your report straight from the app and can attach your app version and a cleaned-up log, so we have what we need to help.

Emailing instead? Please include what you were doing, your FoundryMate version (Settings → About) and, if you can, the log file described below.

Quick troubleshooting

Start FoundryMate before Warframe

FoundryMate needs to be running when Warframe starts so your inventory can sync. Always start FoundryMate first, then launch Warframe. If Warframe was already running, close it and start it again while FoundryMate stays open.

My inventory isn't syncing

Make sure Warframe is open and you're logged in. Your inventory syncs after you log in.
Travel to a relay. This is the most reliable way to trigger a sync. If nothing arrives, return to your Orbiter and try again.
If nothing arrives, restart Warframe while FoundryMate stays open.
Close other Warframe overlays to avoid game-hook conflicts.
If the connection status at the bottom of FoundryMate's sidebar shows a warning, click it to open the Troubleshoot checklist with a retry button.

Warframe is running as administrator

Don't run Warframe as administrator. If it is, FoundryMate can't read your inventory and shows "Warframe is running as administrator."

Restart Warframe normally (not as admin). If Warframe has to run as admin, run FoundryMate as administrator too.

The error Failed to read memory: 998 means the game hook couldn't read Warframe's process; the same fix applies.

Overlays

Overlays appear on their own at the relic selection and reward screens, in your Arsenal and after trades, then close by themselves. They never show during active gameplay.

To click inside an overlay, press Ctrl+Tab while it is on screen; press it again to return to the game. When no clickable overlay is showing, Ctrl+Tab goes to the game as normal.

Where are the log files?

In FoundryMate, open Settings → Help & Feedback → Log Files → Open Folder.

The folder is %APPDATA%\FoundryMate\logs. The current log is foundrymate.log; older logs are kept as foundrymate.log.1, .2 and so on. Attach them to your email when reporting a bug.

Hotkeys

The show/hide and navigation hotkeys can be changed in Settings → Keyboard Shortcuts.

Keys	What it does
`Ctrl`+`Shift`+`F`	Show or hide FoundryMate, including while you're in game.
`Ctrl`+`Tab`	Interact with an overlay while a clickable overlay is open in game; press again to return to the game.
`Ctrl`+`1` … `Ctrl`+`0`	Jump to the first ten sections in the sidebar, in your current sidebar order. Works in game too.
`Ctrl`+`K`	Open global search inside FoundryMate.
`Alt`+`←` / `Alt`+`→`	Go back / forward between views inside FoundryMate.
